Right after club graduation I was asked to coordinate for the first ride for 2024. I who hardly contributed during past rides had a task to fully organize a professional ride. While Initially I was not confident on how to go about it, I put my best foot forward and I thank project management skills for making it successful.

By the time I started riding, had an opportunity to follow group of riders coming from nashik to mumbai. By the time I stopped for a break, the club welcomed me and advised to stick together while riding.

Before joining Inddie Thumpers, I was a solo rider and pretty much never thought more about riding as a hobby, but then, there came a time when the thought of joining a club hit me hard...the need for a brother hood, made me look to join up with like minded riders.

On 19th Oct-24, we Inddie Thumpers embarked on an unforgettable night ride to the mesmerizing Kaas Plateau. A group of over 20 of us, some solo riders and others with a pillion, set off from Panvel at 12.30 am.

It had been few months since I didn’t had the feeling of freedom, sound of engine and wrong turns of google mata making me feel alive. So as soon as the monsoons got a little mellow down, it was time for a long ride exploring another city and local culture.

Last June, we received a message on our members group from Mr. Rohan Salian for an in impromptu off-road breakfast ride to Rajmachi, Lonavala. The excitement was at its peak as it was monsoon season and few of us with our new Himalayan 450 were ready to put their bike to the test.

Planning a solo ride is not as challenging as planning a group ride for a group of 40, there is a freedom in choice of catering to one’s needs that wont ever be found when you plan a trip for a group of 10 let lane 40. But that’s the story we are about to explore.
